A shrub lives around the corner
Day breaks, a rubbish bin blows over, a plastic bag gets tangled in the branches of a tree, a pigeon poops on the statue, the crocuses bloom. In this wonderfully imaginative and wordless performance it’s not the residents who bring this delicate miniature town to life ... but the maple tree, the lamppost, the public toilet or even the beetles on the cobblestones.
‘a wondrous celebration of shopping trolleys in conga, disco-dancing apartment buildings and a shyly flirtatious weeping willow. It turns out that the world doesn't need humans to throw a party' – NRC
